Giuseppe Macario was elected to the Asamblea Nacional in 2009. In 2019, he chose to take on the position of honorary consul.

Bio
Giuseppe Macario (born 1981) is a Panamanian diplomat and businessman, who serves as honorary consul of Panama in the United States Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands. He was also elected to the National Assembly in 2009. In 2019 he opted for the consular mission. Being also an Italian citizen born in Rome, he holds high managerial positions in several Italian and Panamanian companies. He graduated from MIT (Cambridge, MA) via blended learning and his book about the metaverse is archived in the Library of Congress of the USA.
